Erciş Municipality Women's Policies Department Gathered Under Co-Mayor Güler Temel's Leadership

Erciş Municipality Women's Policies Department and female council members held an evaluation and planning meeting under the leadership of Co-Mayor Güler Temel.

During the meeting, the activities carried out within the Women's Policies Department were comprehensively discussed, and activities aimed at empowering women in social, cultural, and economic life were evaluated.

Exchanges of views were made regarding the **Women's Labor Market** activities conducted by the Women's Policies Department's **Economy Unit**, and evaluations were made on projects that will support female producers and increase their participation in economic life.

The meeting also addressed the field studies to be conducted by the **Education and Violence Unit**. Ideas were exchanged regarding planning awareness activities for women, educational programs, and on-site assessment studies.

Co-Mayor Güler Temel stated that the active role of women in local governance is an important part of a democratic and participatory understanding of municipalism, expressing that efforts aimed at empowering women in all areas of life will continue resolutely.
