Support Services for Combating Violence encompass protective and preventive social services aimed at ensuring the safety of women, children, and family members who are victims of or at risk of violence, protecting their rights, and facilitating their access to the support services they need.
Our Directorate operates with a zero tolerance approach against all forms of violence, providing guidance, information, and referral services to enable individuals to lead a safe life. In necessary situations, rapid and effective support mechanisms are implemented in coordination with relevant public institutions, social service organizations, law enforcement agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
In this context, emergency support for victims of violence, information on rights, referral to psychosocial support services, guidance on legal processes, access support for temporary protection services, and referral activities to relevant institutions are carried out.
Additionally, to prevent violence in society, trainings, seminars, awareness campaigns, and informational activities are organized to support women, children, and families in knowing their rights and raising awareness about safe living.
No individual is alone in the face of violence. A safe, equal, and violence-free life is a fundamental right for everyone.
