Disabled and Elderly Support Services
Disabled and Elderly Support Services encompass social services aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals with special needs and our elderly citizens, supporting their active participation in social life, and being there for them in areas where they need assistance.
Our directorate works to ensure that individuals with disabilities and our elderly citizens benefit from equal rights and opportunities in social life, support their independent living skills, and provide services that facilitate their lives. Projects are developed in line with the principles of social municipalism, acting with a service understanding that is dignified, accessible, and inclusive.
In this context, various activities are carried out to facilitate the lives of individuals with special needs, including home visits, social support services, guidance and orientation activities, psychosocial support, coordination for access to health institutions, awareness training, social and cultural events.
Additionally, joint efforts are being made in collaboration with public institutions, health organizations, non-governmental organizations, and relevant stakeholders to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities and our elderly citizens.
With the awareness that every individual has the right to live an equal, accessible, and dignified life; we continue to stand by our individuals with disabilities and our elderly citizens at all times.
